Weekly Update — Central Baptist Church

Join us this Sunday in person or online as we worship together. This week April Simpson, Assistant Professor of Religion and Director of Faithways Leadership Academy at Georgetown College will preach. We are excited to welcome her this Sunday.

We can still use more volunteers for youth and children Sunday school. We also need help in the AV booth on Sundays. Find out more about how to get involved below.

Central will host an interfaith service of remembrance to commemorate the twenty-fifth anniversary of September 11, 2001. Sponsored by the Interfaith Alliance of the Bluegrass, we will welcome our neighbors of all faiths as we seek peace and healing together. The service will take place on September 2nd to avoid Rosh Hashanah observances. We hope you'll attend as we offer welcome to our community.

You can also join us for Prayer Meeting this Wednesday on Zoom at 5:30 p.m.
