The Boomer's visit to Transylvania University will focus on a tour of Old Morrison which is designated as a National Register Landmark. It houses the university's administrative offices, a chapel, and the crypt of one of Transylvania's notable faculty members, botanist Constantine Rafinesque. Parking information will be forthcoming, but some spaces will be made available adjacent to Old Morrison for those needing them. Lunch plans are still pending. This is a great opportunity to learn more about an important and historical part of our community that we probably often pass by, but likely know little about.
