Deacon's Corner

Dear Central Baptist Church Family,

As Chair of the Deacons, I wanted to drop a quick note expressing my gratitude for each and every one of you. We are a better church because you are part of it-  thank you!

Central Baptist is so much more than a place we visit on Sunday mornings. Together we are a family.  It is in the spirit of familial cooperation that I would like to encourage you to get involved. We  have a book talk coming up (copies of the book and reading guide in the foyer), Trunk or Treat this Thursday at Southern Elementary, and sign ups for the upcoming advent devotionals. More information about all these activities can be found in this newsletter. When you show up to help, to support, and to participate, you make us better. No one else can bring your unique strengths, perspective and talents- no one but you!

Simply put: we are better, stronger, and more fun when we work together! 

Your energy and heart are part of what can keep our church thriving. If you’ve been looking for a place to jump in or try something new, the Deacons are here to help you find your spot. Please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you for making our church community such a warm and vibrant place to worship, celebrate the power of God's love, and be his arms in a world so full of need.
