We look forward to welcoming our own Dr. Laura Levens as the preaching minister for our morning worship service. Dr. Levins is the Assistant Professor of Christian Mission with the Baptist Seminary of Kentucky. She began her work with the Seminary in 2014, completing her Th.D. and M. Div. degrees at Duke Divinity School. Her undergraduate degree was earned at Baylor University. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, she was ordained at St. Matthews Baptist Church. Her sermon will be based upon the influncial and powerful passage from Joel 2:23-32 that was quoted by Peter in Acts 2 on the day of Pentecost and by Paul in Romans 10:13.
