Please join me in the Invocation...

Heavenly Father, great is your name and your love.  We come to you today just as we are; some tired, some not, some full of sorrow, some joyful, some with pain and some full of life.  Lord some of us wander from your love and some seek to know you better.  Know we’ve come to worship you on this beautiful morning.  We’ve come to praise you.

Lord we turn our thoughts and attention to you and are ready to hear you – help us listen.

Lord we ask for your love not only for us, but for our loved ones and our families.  Lord we ask for love among nations and among your people – help us love.

Lord we are sometimes anxious for what we do not have, for what is not ours.  Lord we know you will provide for us – help us trust.

Lord we are sometimes cross, and sometimes join others to harm those we fear or those that are different – Lord help us seek peace.

Lord sometimes we denounce you in thought and word – yet you still love us.  Yours is a perfect love.  Help us rejoice in your name – you are the holy one.

Lord many of us live in a busy world, and yet for others, our world has become all too quiet.  Help us remember that you are the important one – help us see your steady light.
